More From My Art Class

Okay, so here are two more drawings from my class. These were done in charcoal, and I was pretty happy with the effect I managed to get in there. :D







Annnnd... This one, also done in charcoal, is the one I was most impressed with. It was done by making marks (I had a few different ones in there) and using them to create value.



And, yes, it is a self portrait of myself. XD

Anyway, I'd love to hear what you guys think about all of it, and I also have like two drawings of characters that I did awhile ago (not for the art class) that I don't think I ever posted if anyone is interested in seeing those. :) Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog!!!

New Stuff

Hey! So, I don't post on this blog a lot, and mainly because in the past (before college) I never did art stuff regularly, and if I managed to draw something, I wasn't always a hundred percent happy with it, so I didn't post it. Then, I started college as took an art class... I would have posted some of that stuff on here, but one, I hated some of that stuff, and two, I was too busy trying to keep up with the class to actually post anything. >.< And after all my efforts I got a C in the class... -_- I can definitely say doing art stuff for a grade is not something I enjoy...

But! I actually did like a few of my pieces that I managed to do, so I figured I'd post some.



^^^ That's one that I did for my sketchbook. I think it was for drawing positive/negative stuff. :)

And these two were from the same assignment as well. :)





I think these were my favorites from that assignment. I have more pictures to post, but I'll just post these ones for now. Let me know what you think!

A sketch of Kollin

This is a sketch I did of Kollin recently. I've been experimenting with different styles of drawing, mainly hair, though I don't know how much different this one is of the other ones I've done....

Random Sketches Part 1

Soo, between yesterday and today I was bored and I was having a hard time writing so I decided to sketch a few things instead. Here's one of the sketches.

It's a phoenix I drew from one of my sister's drawing books. I have a few other sketches, but I'll post those one's later.

Kollin Again

So, I don't think I ever posted my best picture of Kollin that I've drawn so far. So, here it is!

It's not my most recent one, and actually I'm not sure if it's the best so far, but it was certainly my first good one.

Kollin

Sooo... Yesterday while babysitting I managed to draw a picture of Kollin in chalk. And it's probably not exact, and I'm still perfecting my character design for him, but I wanted to post that one anyways. :)

Ooh! And I think I drew a decent-ish picture of a younger version of Kollin! I think it's cute, but I'm not a very good judge, soo... :)

Until Then...

So, I'm planning on post a drawing of one of new characters as soon as I can master everything about his look, and so far it's coming pretty good! I'm actually really happy with the way it's turning out! But until I'm finished, here are two other random drawings of mine. I went to edit them a little bit, and I found a black and white effect, and it looked pretty cool, so I kept it. :D
